For people who already have the school relationships
If you sell to schools in your region — hardware, stationery, IT services, tuition software — the product is the easy part. This is a programme for the harder part: margin you can plan around, implementation revenue you keep, and technical answers from someone who knows the code.
Three ways to work with us
Pick the one that matches what you already do rather than the one with the biggest number attached. Moving up a tier later is normal; being in the wrong one for six months is expensive for both of us.
Where a partner actually makes money
Not on the licence margin, and any programme telling you otherwise is selling you a dream. School ERP subscriptions are a few tens of thousands of rupees a year; a percentage of that will not support a business. The money is in implementation and in the recurring relationship — and that is the part you keep entirely.
- 01 Implementation revenue is yours Data migration, chart-of-accounts setup, fee structure configuration, staff training. You price it, you bill it, you keep 100% of it. We do not take a share and we do not undercut you into your own account.
- 02 Margin on subscription, at a partner rate A real discount off list that you can build a price around, with the rate improving by tier. Annual commitments carry a better rate than monthly, which is worth knowing when you quote.
- 03 Recurring, and it renews You keep the margin on renewals for as long as the school stays with you, not just on the first year. Retention is genuinely in your interest, which is the only way a channel works.
- 04 Adjacent revenue you already sell Biometric devices, GPS trackers, barcode scanners, receipt printers, network setup. The software creates the reason to buy them and we do not sell hardware.
What we actually provide
Listed specifically, because “full support” in a partner programme usually means a PDF and a shared inbox.
What we expect, stated before you apply
A channel fails when expectations are only written down on one side. These are ours, and they are the reason we would rather have twelve partners who implement properly than a hundred who forward a brochure.
- 01 You do the implementation you sold A reseller who sells and then routes every setup question to us is a referral partner on a reseller rate. If that is what you want, take the referral tier — it is honest and it pays without obligation.
- 02 Migration discipline is not optional Import onto a copy, reconcile three figures with the school — student count, total outstanding, opening ledger — and only then go live. A partner who skips this creates a support problem that lands on both of us and a school that never trusts the numbers.
- 03 No claims we would not make Do not promise CBSE credit transcripts, facial recognition attendance, or return filing. Our own pages state what the software does not do; a partner promising otherwise costs us a customer and you a reputation.
- 04 Renewals are the measure We look at how many of your schools are still there in year two, not how many you signed in year one. That is the number that decides tier movement.
On exclusivity, honestly
Partners ask for regional exclusivity in the first conversation, and most vendors say yes because it closes the meeting. We generally do not, and it is worth explaining why rather than just declining.
An exclusive territory is a promise about our behaviour that depends entirely on your coverage. Grant a city to one partner and, two years later, schools in that city cannot buy the product because the partner moved on to something else — and we cannot serve them without breaking a commitment we made. That outcome is worse for everyone, including the partner who is still working the territory next door.
What we will do instead: deal registration, which protects the specific accounts you are actually working; a practical understanding that we will not appoint a second partner into a district you are covering well; and a defined review, so if coverage is genuinely strong the conversation about a more formal arrangement is one we are willing to have with evidence in front of us.
If exclusivity from day one is a hard requirement, we are probably not the right vendor, and it is better to establish that now.
Partner questions
Something not answered here?
Is there a joining fee?
What margin do you offer?
Can we bill the school directly?
Do we get exclusivity in our city?
Who supports the school — us or you?
How long does it take to get productive?
What if a school we introduced approaches you directly?
Can we white-label from the start?
Tell us what you already sell to schools
Which region, how many school relationships, and whether you have an implementation team. That is enough for us to say which tier fits and what the numbers look like.
